Honoured by late President of India Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma with the Non-Hindi Author Award, presented by Central Hindi Directorate, Human Resource and Development Ministry, New Delhi, for the anthology of poems ‘Zakhmon ke Hashiye’ in the year 1993.

Honoured with the Mata Kusumkumari award presented by The International Arts and Culture Organization, Nazibabad (U.P.)

Received grant of Rs.9,000/- from Maharashtra Rajya Hindi Sahitya Academy for the publication of the book ‘Zakhmon ke Hashiye’ and Rs. 36,000/- from Central Hindi Directorate, New Delhi, for the publication of the book ‘Swatantryottar Hindi Hindi Kavita Mein Pranay-Chitran’.

Invitee as a guiding literator for the workshops for upcoming writers organized by the Central Hindi Directorate, held at Cochin and Pune.

One of the founder members of ‘SARJANA’, Sahitya Evam Kala Manch Acting as a secretary since 1998.

Since 1981, involved in presentation of discussions, interviews, poems, short stories, musical features on Pune, Mumbai, Delhi Akashwani. Written popular programmes for AIR like musical features- Janmashtami, Kiran-Kiran Surya(15th August), interviews/ talks- ‘Ahinsa ka desh-Hinsa ki parvarish’,’Hindi filmon ka chakravyuh aur Hum’,’Jungle bachao desh bachao’,’Aaj ki shiksha-kitni sahi,kitani upyogi’,etc.

Under U.G.C.’s MRP worked on topic ‘Pune-Mumbai se Prakashit Hindi Samachar Patroka Bhashik Yogdan’ in 2001. Research work is published in book form ‘Bhasha ki Adalat mein Samachar patra’ in the same year- by Pratima Prakashan, Pune. On going project ‘ History of the modern Hindi poetry’ (1960 onward).

Written 16 books in the form of Poetry, short stories, criticism, translation, journalism and edited 3 books.
